US VIRGIN ISLANDS WELCOMES WEST INDIANS THROUGH TEMPO
NEW JERSEY (January 19, 2012) – Getting Caribbean people to come home is the aim of a partnership between the United States Virgin Islands (USVI) and a television network run by a native son.
With the recent TEMPO Networks launch in the United States, the USVI Department of Tourism encourages Caribbean nationals to sample their special Virgin Islands brand of hospitality.
The month-long partnership features display ads in the New Jersey Star-Ledger, an online travel article on NJ.com, high rotation commercial airplay, online integration, and cross channel promotion on News 12, BET and the Travel Channel.
A luxury four-night prize trip giveaway to the island of St. Croix is also on offer. For contest details, visit www.gotTEMPO.com. The entry deadline is Sunday, January 22, 2012.
TEMPO is run by popular media executive Frederick Morton, Jr., originally from St. Croix.
